Amish Paradise

For your Saturday afternoon veiwing pleausre: a classic staring Weird Al and the music of a ceartain dusgruntled rapper after finding out that his dope gangsta rapping masterpiece had been turned into a greater masterpiece that would be remembered down through the ages through the art form known as "Music Video" and in some countries the ancient Hebrew stroy-telling technique known as "Video Midrash."

You aren't right. That amish thing is hilarious. I can tell you and Lorrie were raised by the same people. I put a link to this site on my blog. I am still laughing.
LOL!!!!!

Every now and then, one must stop to watch a little Weird Al. It is good for the soul (by way of laughter). Have you ever watched UHF? It was a great movie (just like Ghost in the Darkness) but it came out against huge competition.

Okay, that was too funny. Especially the sundial watch and his comfort that knowing the kid who kicked him is going to burn in hell.
Mercy!

Oh, and my first thought was: I hope the Amish won't be offended by this.
Then I realized they would never see it.

No Euphrony, I haven't seen it. Should I? Another movie that was looked over when it was released, that I think is just terrific, is Galaxy Quest. Pretty stinkin' funny.

but, you know the omish do really have something.

Seriously, I would recommend UHF for a good laugh. It features a pre-Seinfeld Michael Richards (absolutely hilarious) and classic Weird Al shtick. It opened in summer 1989, against huge films like Lethal Weapon 2, Batman, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and was crushed at the box office. But, it is a good movie.

And I loved Galaxy Quest, as well.

I'll definitely check it out, maybe tonight. Thanks for the tip! I'll report after.
