Five Cent Stand Up and Running On itunes

Greetings one and all! If you haven't had a chance to order off for a CD because:

1. You are too poor,

2. You are a lamo
3. It is too much trouble to get a paypal account (which you don't need anymore anyway to order from paypal)
4. You desperately want to order but you are trapped under something heavy (quick quick, what movie?)

Well I have some good news for you. We are up and running on itunes. So drop by and write a review if you like. The slate is fresh as of tonight.

Cheers to one and all.

I got the first review in for you! For some reason, iTunes edited out the word 'suck.' I'm not sure what's up with that.

Oh... and don't worry... the context is the phrase "does not suck." I apologize for not being able to do anything simply.

Dear Seth,

You blog too much.

I can't even keep up with the 60+ comment "Einstein" thread, and you've got all these new posts up since then.

Don't you have papers to write, or songs to compose, or something?

Plus, it's summertime. The weather here is awesome! We're having pool parties and cookouts and get-togethers almost daily. If I didn't have a computer job, I would never have the time to be here.

Where do you people get the time?

Well, gotta go. Break time is over. Hope to catch up with your blogaholic self later.

Your Friend,
Chaotic Hammer

PS - Yes. Tongue, cheek, etc. Well, sorta...

Blogaholic, n: a blogger continually drawn to the act of blogging at any given time of day, making no exceptions for normal, routine activities such as work, hygiene, or spending time with spouse. One who is unable to cease the act, thus deemed an addict; in many cases one has given up other addictive substances and is therefore in need of a less harmful substitute.

Hey man.

We did it through CD baby. They took a little longer than we liked but hey...

We had some offers from some other distributors but they wanted a HUGE cut. Almost half in some cases. AND it was contract. They were practically label-greedy.

If we could do it all over again we might try tunecore because they take a smaller cut than CD baby. But we were already into the process when we found out about tunecore. CD baby is still pretty darn good for where we are right now.

Seth - Yes, remember I grew up in Houston. I'm well aware of what a glorious tropical paradise it is in the summertime. :-)

And then when the evening comes around, and the unbearable damp blast-furnace sauna relents and actually nears the realm of suitability for human survival, the burgeoning insect population springs forth with buzzing wings, grabby pinchers, burrowing mouthparts, and thirsty proboscises to make it just as uninhabitable as the daytime.

You're right, my friend. I guess I'd be blogging a lot if I lived in Houston, too. ;-)

Actually, it's good that you've found a constructive outlet for some of your creative energy, and can write so prolifically rather than bottling it up and going bonkers. But because I suspect that you're somewhat like me, I understand that it might just be possible that you might just occasionally use this creative outlet as a sort of procrastination tool from some of the other things that you know you need to do, but just can't seem to get going on.

Oh, and about the Houston weather thing, I need to make it clear to you (and to the Lord) that I'm just kidding around. I'm not gloating or anything. I feel badly for you guys. I just need to make that clear. Because I'm sort of afraid that if I gloat about the nice weather here where I am, then the Lord is going to call me to be a missionary in some horrible place with nasty, unbearably hot weather, like Africa or Central America, or (God forbid) Houston... gack! :-)

Too late c-hammer. Your call is a comin' I can feel it. God already told me that you will be sent to lead bible studies to road-workers in August and to .... well, he just told me not to tell the rest.
